  XAMPP (Cross-Platform Apache MySQL PHP Perl) is a free and open-source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed by Apache Friends. It includes Apache, MySQL, PHP, and other useful tools and is used for developing and testing web applications locally. Here are the steps to start using XAMPP:   1.      Download XAMPP: You can download XAMPP from the Apache Friends website. Choose the appropriate package for your operating system.   2.      Install XAMPP: After downloading XAMPP, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
